We are looking for volunteers to help with this web site. There is not really web programming skills needed. I have set this up for anyone to be able to work with.

What we need is someone who will keep the MCA website pages up to date. Please see Michael or email me for details.

Please join us in creative fun, food & drink and music. Check out the artwork in the gallery and offerings in the gift shop. You can also observe the "creative" process during:

* Our "On the Spot" event, from 10-3 pm, featuring artists spread throughout the gallery, creating artworks to be put up for the silent auction during the last hour of the Open House.

* At 3:15 there will be an "Art Fusion" event with 6 artists and 6 blank canvases set up in a circle, with each artist spending 15 minutes creating on each canvas! The medium is acrylic paint. The finished pieces will also be part of the silent auction.

* Silent Auction held at 5-6 pm with all proceeds going to benefit the Muskegon Center for the Arts efforts, events and promotions.

Muskegon Center for the Arts (MCA) is off and running with growing membership of friendly and talented people. Both MCA and the Red Lotus Gallery are working hard to provide West Michigan, Muskegon in particular, with a happening cultural refuge. A place that provides artists of various kinds a place to create, display, perform, and explore their art form. One where community is a key to inspiration and success, and a synergy is born, making exposure and marketing simple and affordable. Also, for the enhancement and expansion of arts and artists in the greater community.

Any person with an interest in the arts is eligible for membership

in the Muskegon Center for the Arts!
